Chablis 2007 Domaine Servin (75cl)

The grapes come from old vines grown on a soil mix which gives the wine the typical steely and flinty edge which Chablis is so famous for.

An estate whose wines usually go into a generic Côte de Chalonnaise blend. Our buyers, however, were so impressed that we convinced the Co-op to reserve the wine and bottle it separately just for Majestic. The result is classic Chardonnay with an elegant balance of acidity and fresh lemon fruit.

2005 Novas Sauvignon Blanc, Limited Edition
This is a pale wine, with just a hint of golden yellow and plenty of interest on the nose - classic grassy, herbaceous Sauvignon aromas, with some richer pear and passion fruit character in the mouth. Delicate on the palate, with moderate fruit combined with peppery, rocket-leaf acidity.
