From one of the finest 1er cru vineyards in Puligny, the wines of Les Referts always have a streak of minerality and depth making them some of the longest lived wines of this famous village. Marc Jomain makes compact, stylish wines with a real sense of place. Underlying richness and great integration between oak and wine. With a nose honeysuckle, wet rock, citrus and vanilla the palate is intense, ripe and long. This wine makes a superb gift, and is suitable for drinking over the next 4-6 years with full flavoured fish dishes or a cheeseboard.
